//With the debut of rookie group Seventeen I have decided to make a sort of starter pack for new fans. Seventeen is a 13 member boy group under Pledis Entertainment. Many of the members were supposed to debut with members of Nu’est, known as Pledis Boys, later renamed Tempest. However, they were cut from the final line up and Nu’est debuted instead. The cut members were then put back into training where additional trainees were introduced. They were supposed to debut shortly after Nu’est but their debut was delayed. During this time Seventeen’s trainee lives were shown from 2012-2014/15 on their ustream show called SEVENTEEN TV, where many fans were first introduced to the upcoming boy group. Trainees were added throughout the seasons and some were cut/left a little after season 3. Prior to debut they performed at many venues and held concerts to further gain attention. Seventeen finally made their awaited debut after 3 years on May 26, 2015.
